- Application Programmer: Using latest methodologies, development tools, languages.
- Business Analyst: Business development, Pre-sales, Selection & Implementation of software solutions.
- Quality Analyst: Implementation of enterprise level quality models, design / implementation of software development processes, testing and technical documentation.

2. Duration

The M.B.A. (IT) programme will be a full-time two-year programme leading to Master of Business Administration (Information Technology). |

- Physically Handicapped: 3%
- Serving/Retired Defence Personnel and their Children: 5%

- Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per programme

5. Eligibility
|
Graduates possessing 50% marks (For SC/ST: 45%) in any faculty of any statutory University shall be eligible for admission to the M.B.A. (IT) programme. |
6. Selection Procedure
|
Candidate will be selected based on Written Test conducted by SNAP, GD, PI. |

10. Assessment
|
The final total assessment will be as per the following scheme.
Theory Subjects :
Internal Assessment (60 %):
Each faculty is required to give an assessment plan to you at the beginning of the programme.
External Assessment (40 %):
External assessment will be done based on the End-Semester examination.
Practical Subjects :
Practical assessment will cover the assignments and lab examination. |
11. Standard of Passing
|
A student has to pass both internal & external exam separately. The grade F or marks less than 50% of Individual head (internal & external) will be considered as fail. A student will be eligible for award of degree if he obtains a minimum 2.00 CGPA at the end of 4th semester. |
12. Award of Degree
|
The Degree will be awarded at the end of 4th semester examination by taking into consideration the performance of all 4 semesters examinations. |
