BCA offers the pre qualification for professionals heading for smart career in the IT field, which measures up to international standards. On completing this programme one can do higher studies such as MCA, MBA etc., in any UGC recognized universities or in any other reputed institution in India or abroad.

   1. Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per programme

XII pass from Science faculty OR government diploma in Engineering and Technology with minimum 50% marks (For SC/ST: 45%)

Candidate will be selected based on Written Test conducted by SET.

The final total assessment will be as per the following scheme.

Theory Subjects :
Internal Assessment (60 %):
Each faculty is required to give assessment plan to you at the beginning of the course. 
External Assessment (40 %)
External assessment will be done based on the End-Semester examination.

Practical Subjects :
Practical assessment will cover the assignments and lab examination..

A student has to pass both internal & external exam separately. The grade F or marks less than 50% of Individual head (internal & external) will be considered as fail. A student will be eligible for award of degree if he obtains a minimum 2.00 CGPA at the end of 6th semester.

The Degree will be awarded at the end of 6th semester examination by taking into consideration the performance of all 6 semesters examinations.
