BBA (IT) is a perfect blend of Commerce, Management and IT subjects heading for smart careers in Business Administration with an IT flavor. BBA (IT) offers opportunities for an early entry into the Management cadre, equipped with IT knowledge, to be trained appropriately by the companies for their requirements. These students can also opt for Higher studies here or abroad in the Management field.

   5. Serving/Retired Defence Personnel and their Children: 5%
   
   
2. Over and above the Sanctioned intake:
   1. Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats per programme

Student passing XII from any faculty or equivalent diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 50% marks. (For SC/ST: 45%)

Candidate will be selected based on Written Test conducted by SET.

The final total assessment will be as per the following scheme.

Theory Subjects :
Internal Assessment (60 %):
Each faculty is required to give an assessment plan to you at the beginning of the programme.
External Assessment (40 %):
External assessment will be done based on the End-Semester examination.

Practical Subjects :
Practical assessment will cover the assignments and lab examination.

A student has to pass both internal & external exam separately. The grade F or marks less than 50% of Individual head (internal & external) will be considered as fail. A student will be eligible for award of degree if he obtains a minimum 2.00 CGPA at the end of 6th semester.

The Degree will be awarded at the end of 6th semester examination by taking into consideration the performance of all 6 semesters examinations.
