  • Most of the library activities are computerized to facilitate speedy operations. SICSR encourages the use of its library for professional purposes.

  • Some of the major services rendered by the library are reference, document delivery, data search facilities, resource sharing with other libraries etc.
    It procures CDs related to different subjects like interviews,presentation,soft skill.

  • library has taken membersip of different local and national org. like BCL,IASLIC,ILA and DELNET

  • Our library also provides a range of books, periodicals, e-resources and other media at appropriate levels for the need of the students.
    It also focuses on establishing the world-class resources and facilities, which will reflect academic and research needs in present, future and anticipatory

  • Equipped with a modern barcode system for maintaining records, the library boasts of presence of over 69 Periodicals - technical, non-technical, Indian as well as foreign titles.

  • The regular upgradation of library, which stocks more than 14,500 books, is done through, over 800 procurements and 600 manuals. each year.
    The students also have access to audio-video cassettes and CD-ROMs.

  • The reading room and reference room environment motivates the students and provides a backbone in the quest for knowledge.
  • Library subscribes to number of databases and e-books related to management and allied subjects apart from number of corporate databases.

  • Users' assistance, Search facilities and document delivery etc., are done through intranet.

  • LIBRARY SERVICES: Totally automated library with barcoded document and web opac(open public access)cater the maximum needs of its clientele,users can browse through web opac to search different queries,reservation,requests,feedback,updated information apart from that through intranet users can aware of latest information about library .

  • Audio/Visual Service: The library has films/video and audio-cassettes on management and related subject available for reference. Students can use their reference card to avail this facility.

  • Reading room: The library provides a separate reading room so that the student gets an appropriate environment to research and develop.


    TEACHING AIDS & PEDAGOGY

  • SICSR's approach to teaching includes a combination of lectures, class discussion, group work and self-study.
  • The faculty present key subjects in lectures and conduct class discussions based on case studies.
  • Case analysis is often undertaken in groups, leading to formal class presentations. In most subjects, individual or group projects are required.
  • Evaluation is based on a combination of methods, which may include individual and/or group papers, lab assignments and projects and formal examinations.
