The Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) is an in house Health Care Centre exclusively for the staff & students of the various institutes of Symbiosis. The SIHS has a team of specialist doctors who conduct the (compulsory) annual health check up. Out patient treatment is provided to the students by the medical officers of SIHS. The Centre also arranges seminars & health education workshops.

Each student is insured under the Mediclaim & Road Traffic Accident Policy. A copy of the policy document is available with the Registrar / O.S. For further details regarding the benefits of the policy, the student should contact SIHS.

SIHS also provides an in house, modern, state of art health club & fitness centre with a view to facilitate a holistic development of mind & body for an all round development of our students. Training facilities for strength, endurance, flexibility & cardiovascular fitness including Yoga & Meditation will be provided in customized capsules suited to the unique requirements of the student population in conformation with their academic curriculum.

The Centre thus provides preventive, promotive as well as curative health care services with a view to ensure positive health in all members of Symbiosis Family.
